Basic Fire Safety Awareness Training

Our Basic Fire Safety Awareness Training course takes approximately 2 1/2 hours and is ideal for new staff, current staff who have never received formal training, or staff requiring refresher training.

Course Aim:

To provide participants with a basic understanding of fire safety in the workplace, basic fire safety housekeeping, actions to take in the event of discovering a fire or upon hearing the fire alarm and how to select and use a fire extinguisher.

• Principles of fire safety
• Hazard spotting and day-to-day fire safety awareness

Fire Warden Training

This course is a further in-depth workshop for owners, managers, supervisors or individuals with a designated responsibility for fire safety and/or the evacuation of staff, visitors and customers in the event of fire. This workshop takes approximately 4 hours and takes a more comprehensive look at all of the topics covered in the Basic Fire Safety Awareness Training course with additional focus on:

 Course Content:

• Employer’s responsibilities
• Fire statistics
• Safety checks & record keeping
• Fire drills
• Evacuating your building

Fire Extinguisher and Live Fire Training

NWA incorporating 3rd Eye Fire & Safety offer training designed for employees who may have to use fire equipment to extinguish a small fire. The training is highly practical with a short theory session which focuses on safe use of fire extinguishers.
