We Are Hiring – Security Engineer

North West Alarm Systems, Ireland’s premier Security & Fire Safety provider, is looking for a Security Engineer to join our team in Donegal and surrounding areas.

We specialise in the supply, installation, maintenance, and commissioning of:
✅ Intruder Alarms
✅ CCTV
✅ Access Control
✅ Door Automation
✅ Barrier & Gate Automation
✅ Fire Alarm Systems
✅ Fire Extinguishers
✅ Fire Suppression Systems
✅ Emergency Lighting
✅ Medical Call Systems

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, ‘Can Do’ person to become part of our progressive and growing business.

Person Specification:

✔ Strong troubleshooting, testing, and repair/replacement skills
✔ Electrical or electronic repair background (preferred)
✔ Knowledge of relevant standards & codes of practice (desirable but not essential)
✔ Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation, and a proactive ‘Can Do’ attitude
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Strong English literacy
✔ Comfortable using mobile tools and apps
✔ Full clean Irish driving licence
✔ Experience with fire protection systems (fire alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, nurse call systems, fire suppression, etc.) is an advantage

Role & Responsibilities:

🔧 Installation & servicing of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Door & Gate Automation Systems
🔧 Ensuring all equipment is installed according to manufacturer specifications
🔧 Testing systems to troubleshoot and analyse failures
🔧 Providing feedback to management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and service improvements

A background in electrical systems is desirable.
